Have any of the other cosplayers out there just pulled out an old costume, taken one look, and gone 'Holy Crap, I actually wore that?'

That's what happened with my San cosplay. I was digging through some of my old stuff, and decided to completely remake my San outfit. I mean, I have a sewing machine now, why not? Should only take a few days instead of a few months like when I was sewing stuff by hand.

When the ring broke off my Naruto Kunai AGAIN, I decided to allow it one last chance in the cycle of rebirth, so now I even have a spear in the making! Even my mask got a fresh coat of paint, and the cape and clay ears are all new and freshly painted too. I'm gonna be the prettiest, (And likely the only) San at Katsucon! If you guys see a San with a half-mask and a short spear, it's probably me. Come and give me a hug, I love hugs.

In other news, life is good. I'm living off campus, and I have my cat with me, so I'm a happy college student. If any of you guys are going to Katsu, drop me a line. I'll be a judge at the Karaoke event Friday night.
